Anonymous asked: You've made some gifs, right? If you know how, can you tell me how to make those types of gifs where there are multiple pictures, and one scene plays then the other, in a loop. Thank you.
i don’t know how to explain it exactly, but i’ll try my best!
okay so first just make the gif how you’d normally make it in photoshop, cut frames/layers that you don’t need, etc. then create a background layer (make sure its a solid color, i tried to make it a fun pattern one but tumblr wasn’t a fan of the multiple colors) then resize the image (if you want).
kay now here is where you do the “fun” stuff. the first thing i would do use the ruler guides to make even boxes for your gifs. now select all of the frames in the animation window AND select all the layers of the first part of the gif you want to use. on the move tool select show transform controls and make the layers smaller to fit the first box. do the same thing with the next parts of the gif. (make sure all of the frames in the animation box are selected, other wise they won’t all move for each frame and trust me, its not fun to fix)
now that you have all of the parts of the gif where they are supposed to be, select ALL of the frames of the first gif, then go to the layers box and toggle the visibility of the first frame of the second, third, etc.
next, go to the second part of the gif, again select all of the frames of that part, and then go to the layers box and toggle visibility for the last frame of the first part and the first part of the remaining parts.
continue with this process, playback the gif (to make sure everything is right and nothing is moving in between frames). save for webs and devices and then you’re done!
i’m sorry if this didn’t help you at all. if you have anymore questions you know where to find me. ;]
